Goose hunting is dependent upon having birds flying to the fields that we have access to hunt. If interested in goose hunting, please email malcolm@3bda.org or tim@3bda.org for availability. If the geese are flying, hunting will be open on a first come first serve basis to disabled individuals affected by a physical disability who require the use of a wheelchair or other walking device during the following dates:
- 9/2/2024 - 9/14/2024
- 12/20/2024 - 1/4/2025
- 1/15/2025 - 2/1/2025
Legal shooting time is from sunrise to sunset.
Additional Details
- We encourage you to bring a friend or family member.
- Weapons will not be provided.
- We have 1 Track Chair, 2 Not-A-Wheelchair Adult Rigs, and 1 Not-A-Wheelchair Kid Rig available for use to get hunters into the field.
- We have a Hoyer lift to assist with transfers if needed.
- A map of the hunting area will be provided.
- Blinds to hunt in and transportation to the blinds will be provided. If you would like heat, you will need to provide your own heat source or blankets.
- A volunteer will be available to gather geese.
