Adaptive Kayaking - Muddy Creek - 2024

There is no cost to attend.  Registration is required, as space is limited.

The following dates are available on a first come first serve basis to disabled individuals affected by spinal code injuries or amputations.

• 6/1/2024 - 10AM - 1PM and 2PM - 5PM - This is also a free fishing day
• 7/4/2024 - 10AM - 1PM and 2PM - 5PM - This is also a free fishing day
• 8/24/2024 - 10AM - 1PM and 2PM - 5PM 

Please arrive 30 min early.

Additional Details

• We encourage you to bring a family member.
• We have 4 adaptive single and 7 non-adaptive kayaks available for use.
• We have 1 tandem kayak set up for incomplete quadriplegics.
• Life jackets are provided.
• A volunteer will be available to assist with transfers.
• The trip will be guided by 2 trained guides.
• We recommend bringing a snack and a bottle of water, we will likely have a short break midway.
• We recommend a hat, sunscreen, and gloves.
• Wear appropriate clothing for the days weather.
• If you have any personal items you would like to bring with you on the water, you will need to have a waterproof bag to store them in.
• There will be an orientation on water saftey along with a brief orientation on paddling.
