Hard to believe it’s already been a month since our camping weekend at Trap Pond State Park. We kayaked, enjoyed Come Roll with Us, and even had one good‑natured spill in the water. Everyone took it in stride, and the laughter made the day even better. We loved spending time with familiar faces and new ones, and we can’t wait to do it again next year. Who’s planning to join us next year?

Saturday was a great day in the blind thanks to the generous hunt donated from Full Flight Outfitters. We started with ducks in the morning and moved to goose hunting in the afternoon. Our goal was Canadian geese, but the snow geese stole the show — what felt like more than 10,000 jumping from field to field. Every time it looked like they were about to land with us, they’d take a hard turn into the next field.

Even without bringing home a bird, the laughs, stories, and time together made it a day to remember.
